I just want to vent and not be judged. I can apreciate when others vent- we all have to at some point or we would explode! It's the people that don't express their stress and frustration verbally or some other way that is healthy that I worry about. And those people who think they are better than you because they don't vent on social media- I could easily call them pious egostists, but you know , they were probably abused as children and taught that thier lives have no meaning and their opinions mean nothing, so they look to validate themselves by judging others who feel the liberation of being able to express themselves. I choose to pity them.
My vent:
Husbands. Yes, we as Christian wives are suppose to look at our husbands as leaders and defenders of our homes. And they usually do a decent job. Some more than others. Mine is not too shabby for the most part,. He could be a lot worse. He doesn't beat me, cheat on me, drink alcohol, do drugs, or gamble. But at the same time, he is just a lump of nothingness. He does lie to me- but about stupid stuff. He rarely has sex with me. I've gotten to the point that even when he does, I don't want it. He's grouchy with the kids, and seriously no fun at all. Case in point: I suggested we go for a fun drive tonight after dinner as a family for our family home evening. His idea of fun- going on base, getting gas, and driving all the way around the base and coming home- after I beg him too. First of all, I said fun. What is so fun about driving on base at night seeing stuff we've see a thousand times. I thought maybe we would stop and walk on the beach. No. He kept driving. After we passed the beach- I had to say something. Seriously what in the world was he doing??? This was not fun, driving around in big fat circle . Chloe fell asleep. Lucy was coughing, and Emily, bless her sweet soul, was trying to sing her favorite song, while Jerry was busy telling her to stop. That made me furious!
How dare he waste my time and treat our children this way? I told Emily to keep singing and I proceeded to let Jerry know what a good for nothing, waste of time he was and is!
Now, I am eating oreos and icecream till I feel better ..... we all know Jerry won't make me feel any better. HE NEVER TRIES TO MAKE THINGS BETTER!!!!!
I wish he would just go away for a while- please pray with me for a quick and longlasting deployement as I want him out of my life for a while!!!
I guess this makes me a bad Christian wife. I'm not perfect, I am a sinner. It gives me all the more reason to repent.
The end of my vent. I feel better now, but he is gonna sleep on the couch for a while.

The Lord Provides!
I have come to believe over the last few years, that if you are doing what The Lord wants you to be doing or taking your life in the right direction, that the path will be made clear. God will provide a way for whatever you want or need to be done.
I have a strong faith that God provides for us as long as we are accepting of it and deserving of it. It may not be in the exact form we are looking for sometimes. Occasionally it is something right in front of us. For some, maybe it comes in the form of a song or story that inspires us to action and in return we are provided with whatever it is that we need.
This week, for me it was not one, but two rainbows in the sky. If you remember the story of Noah in the Book of Genesis, after the flooding rains stop, a beautiful rainbow appears in the sky. I've always known that rainbow to be symbolic of the covenant that Our Father in Heaven made with man to never again flood the whole earth and destroy everything. But this time, to me, the rainbows meant something different. I felt like Heavenly Father was making a covenant with me to always take care of me as long as I held on to my faith in Him and Jesus Christ. It has given me a renewed strength I haven't felt in a while.
Additionally this week, I started my business Lingerdoodledoo. I made it official. My facebook page is set up and eventually I will open an etsy shop. Several orders and requests have come in already. If fact, I just received a phone call from a customer needing zipper repairs on some dresses. It's a rush order, but I am more than willing to do it.

My workouts are going great! I am up to two hours of working out a day my abs are getting flatter, my body is more toned and my booty is getting rather shapely!
Potty Training is going in the right direction. Chloe is staying dry most of the day. We have even ventured out with panties on and came home accident free! I'm sure there will be set backs, and that is to be expected. But so far so good!!
Taxes on the other hand - not so fun. Way too much stuff went down this year for me to even try to do them myself. At this point it looks like we owe taxes in three different states. I'm sure that's not right so I'm ready to hand the paper work to someone else for now.
I can really look back this week and see how much the Lord has given me to be thankful for. He has taken such good care of me and my family. I think tonight I will pray for all my friends and family who are going through hard times. I will pray that you will know when the Lord is providing for you and give you peace, comfort and the strength to endure those tough times. Because The Lord does provide for us !!

How's it going??
I hope that everyone is doing well. I know I am. Here's the low down on what I have been up to for the past two weeks and the progress I am making.
I have working out regularly and am on my 4th week of my own program. I'm doing Hip Hop Abs because it is fun , energetic and I look forward to each workout. My meal plan is going well. It's not perfect but I do have my Shakeology every morning and I have cut back on my Diet Coke consumption greatly. Water is my new liquid of choice! I would like to give a shout out to some great products I'm trying and loving:
La Tortilla Factory's Smart & Delicious Whole Wheat tortillas ( 80 cal for the large ones and lots of protein and fiber) www.latortillafactory.com
Cabot 75% Reduced Fat Habanero Chedder snacks www.cabotcheese.coop
As far as my other resolutions, I think I am doing rather well. I'm getting more organized and doing better with money. On Sunday, in church, someone spoke of making resolutions and not making them too vague. I started thinking about it and decided that I need to make mine more specific. So here it goes:
1) I am going to become more organized ( I am the CFO,CEO, and COO of the family) by making a Home Management Binder (done), orgnanize the girls clothes and shoes (working on) and work on my sewing area.
2) Better our financial situation. Pay as many bills by auto draft as possible, pay for variable expenses with cash, and spend less on clothes for the kids, ( do they really need matching designer, boutique outfits all the time?) Use coupons on groceries even though they still don't help as much here as they did in DC. Put money in savings and really start saving for moving expenses, large purchases, a house, and the future for our girls (missions, college, and weddings). Start Saving for vehicles. Jerry and I will need new vehicles next year.
3) Sew more. I am going to sew more things for the girls, and start a quilt. (quilt started). I need to start selling my items to make money.
4) Be happier and have more fun! Every day have a booty shake break with the girls.(done)
5) Become more involved in church and reach out to my fellow sisters in Christ. (done)
6) Lose the baby weight by begining and sticking to a workout program and meal plan. ( done)
Making resolutions or goals and guide you to making your life better. I am already reaping those rewards. Two weeks in, I am a little happier, and little healthier inside and out !!!

Happy New Years !! Welcome 2012 !!
I love the holidays! In fact, I love just about every holiday there is. But there is one holiday that means more to me than Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Independence and all the others: NEW YEARS DAY!
Don't get me wrong, as a devout Christian woman, Christmas, and Easter have strong religious and personally spiritual significance to them. As a retired Army wife, Independence Day, Flag day, Memorial Day, and Veterans day, have significant meaning to me as well.
For me personally, New Years Day, has a special meaning to me. As a christian woman, it reminds me of the atonement of Jesus Christ and because of that " do-overs", or " a clean slate" is possible. So, with that mind, I can feel free to set new goals and resolve to do better on the ones I made last year.
Here are the resolutions I am making for this year:
I have already gotten started on the first 5 , but still have a lot left to go. It may seem like I have gone a little over board with the resolutions or that I might have set my expectations of myself a little to high. I can justify doing so, because I really let myself and my life go the last half of 2011. I let too many things get me down and crush my spirit.
But not this year- I feel we have already hit rock bottom, so there is no where to go but up!! These resolutions or goals I have set can be accomplished as long as I have the love and support of my family and friends, and have a close relationship with my savior, Jesus Christ and my Father in Heaven.
Let's make 2012 the best year ever !!! Oh and don't forget to eat your blackeyed peas!!

Here are the resolutions I am making for this year:
New Years resolutions for 2012
1. Complete Turbo Fire, Hip Hop Abs, and Brazil Butt Lift, and end with P90 X by Summer. Keep doing those programs for the rest of the year to lose the baby weight and keep it off.
2. Reorganize the apartment to be a more suitable dwelling for the family.
3. Redecorate the apartment to make it feel better and more homey!
4. Take charge of the budget and be creative in finding solutions to save money
5. Start blogging (as a way of journeling) it might be therapeutic.
6. Make a schedule and try to stick to it.
7. Sew more things to make enough inventory to start selling things online and at the flea market
8. More produce for me and the family- organic when we can.
9. Read The Bible, Book of Mormon and Doctrine and Covenants from cover to cover.
10. Go to the temple more often.
11. Travel more and see the world that the Lord has given us
12. Have more fun .
13. Do better, be better, give better than last year.
But not this year- I feel we have already hit rock bottom, so there is no where to go but up!!
